BASIC INFORMATION

Capacity and entry fee

Maximum capacity: 1900 pigeons.

Entry fee: €95.12 + VAT 23% = €117 per pigeon.

Awards are calculated based on 1800 pigeons participating.

If the number of 1800 pigeons is not reached, the testing centre reserves the right to reduce the prizes by a percentage.

REGISTRATION

Pigeon reception deadline

  • Pigeon collection at the Testing Centre: from March 15, 2026 to May 15, 2026.

  • Pigeon reception at the TC: every day from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. or by telephone agreement (except Sundays).

Registration conditions

  1. 1. Fanciers register directly on the website https://mtcpharmagal.sk.
    Registration is possible from January 2, 2026.

  2. Each fancier may register an unlimited number of pigeons.

  3. After registration, the fancier will receive a pro forma invoice, which can be downloaded to their device.

  4. Participation in the ITC is guaranteed after registration and payment of the amount specified on the pro forma invoice. If payment is not received within 30 days, the ITC registration will be cancelled.

  5. Fanciers can download the electronic application form from the "News" section of the website. They can complete it either electronically or by hand.

  6. The fully completed and signed application form with all required information must be submitted when the pigeons are handed over.

  7. When handing over the pigeons, it is necessary to submit the list of the delivered pigeons.

Payment of the entry fee

  • In exceptional cases, the entry fee can be paid directly when handing over the pigeons to the TC.

  • Payment by bank transfer to the specified account (recommended before handing over the pigeons).

IMPORTANT: By handing the pigeons in and paying the entry fee, the original owner agrees to the propositions in full extent.

REQUIREMENTS FOR PIGEONS

  • All pigeons will be examined by a veterinarian upon arrival at the TC.

  • The testing centre will be under veterinary supervision throughout the season and control analyses will be performed at regular 10-day intervals.

Age and marking

  • Age of pigeons: 35 - 45 days.

  • Pigeons must have a pedigree ring from the year 2026.

  • All pigeons will be chipped with BENZING electronic chips.

Vaccination and health

Delivered pigeons do not have to be vaccinated against PMV (paramyxovirus) until the age of 45 days.

IMPORTANT: Vaccination is key to the further operation of the testing centre and the health of all pigeons, therefore upon arrival all pigeons will be immediately vaccinated with a bivalent vaccine against PMV and rotavirus and dewormed.

Pedigrees and certificates

When handing over pigeons, each owner MUST submit:

  1. A pedigree completed to the second generation (completed properly and legibly, with the owner's signature).

  2. A list of delivered pigeons.

  3. A certificate of ownership of the pigeons.

WARNING: In case of failure to submit pedigrees and certificates upon handover, the owner MUST send them no later than the second race. Otherwise, the owner loses the opportunity to receive an award, which will be forfeited to the TC.

Race conditions

All races are flown from a northwest to west direction.

The start of the race is planned according to weather conditions.

The organiser reserves the right to change, shorten, postpone or cancel the race.

THE FINAL RACE will not be shortened; however, the organiser has the right to change its date due to adverse weather.

Broadcasting online

  • All races will be available on the platform: www.oneloftrace.live.

  • Live broadcast of the pigeon's arrival from the camera system.

  • Video recordings of starts of the races.

VETERINARY CARE

Veterinary supervision

The testing centre will be under the veterinary supervision of MVDr. Miroslav Kocifaj throughout the season.

Regular health control of the pigeons at 10-day intervals.

Immediate veterinary intervention if necessary – MVDr. Miroslav Kocifaj.

Vaccination at the Testing Centre

The organiser undertakes that the pigeons will be revaccinated against:

  • Paramyxovirus (PMV) and rotavirus - 3 x

  • Diphtheria - 1 x

  • Other diseases as recommended by the veterinarian.

Death of pigeons

In case of the death of a pigeon, the owner has the right to send a replacement pigeon to the TC for the year 2027 for free.

In case that the pigeon is lost before being chipped, the owner has the right to deliver the pigeon to the TC for the year 2027 for free.

Ace pigeon (best overall performance):

Ace team - the best three-member team of a fancier from the final race:

PIGEON AUCTION

Auction conditions

After the arrival from the final race, the pigeons will not be offered for auction immediately.

All pigeons that have returned to the testing centre will be offered for auction online.

The auction will last 14 days after the end of the final race.

Owners' share of the auction

  • Owners of the auctioned pigeons will receive 50% of each auctioned pigeon.

    If the pedigree and certificate are not provided, the owner loses the right to a share of the auctioned amount.

  • Payment of the share will be made within 30 days of actual receipt and payment for the pigeon.

Second round of the auction

Pigeons that are not auctioned will participate in the second round of the auction with a reduced starting price.

In the second round of the auction, the owner loses the right to a share of the auctioned amount.

The second round of the auction lasts 14 days.

OWNERSHIP AND RESPONSIBILITY

Transfer of ownership

By placing the pigeons in the testing centre, the organiser automatically becomes the owner of the pigeons.

The original owner is entitled to:

  • Prizes according to placement.

  • Share from the auction (50%).

Organiser's responsibility

The organiser undertakes to ensure:

  • Quality conditions for pigeon breeding.

  • Regular veterinary care.

  • Quality feeding and compliance with hygiene standards.

  • Transparent conduct of all races and auctions.

  • Timely payment of prizes and shares.

Owner's responsibility

The owner of the pigeons undertakes to:

  • Deliver healthy pigeons.

  • Deliver complete and true pedigrees.

  • Accept the organiser's decisions regarding the race.

  • Accept the decisions of the veterinarian.

EMERGENCY MEASURES

Veterinary emergencies

In the event of emergency veterinary measures, the organiser may withdraw from the competition conditions if disease measures are issued by state authorities (e.g. bird flu, other diseases).

Procedure in the event of veterinary measures:

  1. Pigeons will be returned to the fanciers (if permitted by veterinary authorities).

  2. Entry fee will be refunded in the amount of 50%.

Force Majeure

In the event of force majeure (natural disasters, pandemics, war conflicts), the organiser has the right to cancel or postpone the entire season.

RULES AND FINAL PROVISIONS

General rules

  1. The organiser follows the rules of the Association of Slovak Racing Pigeon Breeders.

  2. All races are flown according to international rules.

  3. The decisions of the organiser and veterinary supervision are final.

  4. The organiser is not responsible for the deaths of pigeons due to force majeure.

Communication

  • All important information will be published on the TC website.

  • SMS notifications about races and arrivals (for registered ones).

Personal data protection

The organiser undertakes to protect the personal data of participants in accordance with the GDPR.

The data will be used only for the needs of the testing centre.

Only the names of the fanciers and their results will be published (not contact details).

IMPORTANT NOTES

For a smooth TC course, we recommend:

✓ Early registration (capacity is limited).

✓ Delivery of pigeons at optimal age (35-45 days) and in good health.

✓ Complete pedigrees upon handing over.

✓ Regular communication with the organiser.

✓ Monitoring the TC website.
